One-Pot Homemade Hamburger Helper
10 mins prepServes 4
Hamburger Helper will always be one of my favorite cozy comfort meals, but let’s make a version using real ingredients and not powdered…who knows what🤨
This can all be made in one pot and it’ll only take you 30 minutes!
1. In a pan with a drizzle of olive oil, sauté the chopped onions and garlic for a few minutes. Then, add in the ground beef and cook until cooked through. Mix in the tomato paste.
2. Mix the corn starch into the beef broth until there’s no clumps and then pour it into the ground beef mixture. Add the uncooked pasta and seasonings. Bring to a boil and then cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. If the mixture is getting dry, you can add in some more beef broth.
3. When the pasta is cooked through, add shredded cheese and a splash of heavy cream. Mix together and enjoy!
